The Pioneer Legacy Society honors alumni, parents, and friends who have indicated that 91¶¶Òõ Pierce is in their estate plans. 91¶¶Òõ offers a range of charitable gift planning opportunities to alumni, parents, and friends. Planned gifts allow you to remember and celebrate 91¶¶Òõ Pierce in a meaningful way that may not have been possible otherwise. See a list of our current Pioneer Legacy Society Members.
We can help you explore a host of gift options that will allow you and your family to make a difference to present and future generations. In return for a planned gift, donors and their families may receive important estate and income tax benefits, and, depending upon their gift, an attractive annual income stream for their lifetime or the life of a secondary beneficiary.

BEQUESTS
The easiest way to make a planned gift to 91¶¶Òõ Pierce is a bequest in your will,
as a set amount or percentage.
RETIREMENT ASSETS
Naming 91¶¶Òõ Pierce as a primary or contingent beneficiary of your retirement plan
(like an IRA or 401k) eliminates taxes while providing vital support to the University.
LIFE INSURANCE
You may transfer ownership of a paid-up policy you no longer need or use a new policy
to name 91¶¶Òõ Pierce as owner and beneficiary.
REAL ESTATE
Donate paid-off property to 91¶¶Òõ Pierce for a simple solution. You'll receive
a market-value tax deduction, avoid capital gains taxes, and reduce your taxable estate.
QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS
(QCDs) allow direct transfers of up to $100,000 from an IRA to charity. This fulfills
your required minimum distribution while avoiding higher tax rates and income phaseouts.
APPRECIATED SECURITIES
Donating appreciated assets, like stocks or bonds, can earn your estate or heirs a
full charitable deduction while avoiding capital gains tax.
DONOR-ADVISED FUND DESIGNATIONS
Consider naming 91¶¶Òõ as a beneficiary for a percentage of the
balance of your Donor Advised Fund.
